Submission Guidelines

Article Formatting Requirements

All written submissions should follow these specifications:

• Font: 12pt Georgia or Times New Roman

• Margins: 1-inch all around

• Spacing: single line spacing for all text

• Headings: Bold, with appropriate hierarchy (H1, H2, etc.)

• Please limit formatting enhancements (bold, italic, etc.) to essential emphasis only

Content Length Guidelines

We accept the following content types with these specifications:

• Feature Articles: 800-2,000 words

• Photo Essays: 8-15 high-resolution images with 300-500 words of accompanying text

• Video Content: 3-7 minutes for standard features, up to 15 minutes for in-depth documentaries/docu-series

• Interviews: 1,000-1,500 words

• Opinion Pieces: 600-1,200 words

• Op-Ed: 300 – 1k words

• Music Video, Interview, or Fashion Film: 2-15 minutes

• Photo Shoot: 3-10 photos

File Formats & Technical Specifications

• Written content: .docx or .pdf format

• Images: High-resolution .jpg or .tiff (300dpi minimum)

• Video: H.264 compression in .mp4 format (4k or 1080p)

• Audio: .mp3 format at 320kbps

Language & Style

All submissions must be in English. We welcome diverse voices and perspectives but require all content to meet professional editorial standards. Our house style follows AP guidelines with some modifications for creative expression.

Rights & Permissions

By submitting to Reaux Magazine L.L.C., you confirm that:

• Your work is original or you have secured all necessary rights

• You have obtained model releases for all identifiable individuals in photographs or videos

• Any music, stock imagery, or third-party content is properly licensed for publication

• You grant Reaux Magazine non-exclusive rights to publish your work in print and digital formats

Photography & Visual Content Guidelines

We seek visual content that:

• Demonstrates unique perspective and creative vision

• Shows technical proficiency and attention to detail

• Tells a compelling visual story

• Reflects contemporary aesthetic sensibilities

• Considers diversity and cultural sensitivity

Submission Process

Submit your work through our online portal at reauxsubmissions@gmail.com, including:

• A brief cover letter (max 250 words) explaining your concept

• Your complete work according to the guidelines above

• A short bio (100 words) and contact information

• Links to your portfolio or previous published work (if applicable)

Review Timeline

Our editorial team reviews submissions on a rolling basis. You can expect to hear back within 2-4 weeks.
